Elle F. Ratliff, M.D.

Dr. Elle Foster Ratliff was born and raised in Shreveport, LA. After graduating from Byrd High School, she pursued her undergraduate studies at LSU Baton Rouge, earning a BS in biology and a minor in chemistry from LSU Ogden Honors College. She then went to medical school, completing her pre-clinical years at LSUHSC New Orleans and finishing her clinical years at LSUHSC Shreveport. She stayed at LSUHSC Shreveport for her pediatrics residency, spending her final year as Chief Resident. Dr. Ratliff is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Ratliff grew up in the Broadmoor neighborhood with her mother, an elementary school teacher, and two younger brothers. She is married to Jonathan Ratliff, a local civil engineer, and has a step-daughter and a baby boy. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy watching movies, playing board games, exploring new destinations through travel, and spending quality time walking their dogs. Dr. Ratliff considers her experiences as a mother and step-mother to be just as valuable as her medical training in her pediatric practice. She views shared decision-making between the parent-pediatrician team as a crucial aspect of caring for children.
