Fast Lane Walk-In Sick Clinic Instructions

Information about the Fast Lane:

  • Walk-In Slots: We offer 10 walk-in slots per hour from 8 AM to 4 PM.
  • Sign-Up Times: Secure your slot on-line at the top of each hour (e.g. 8, 9, 10, etc.). They open up 24 hours in advance. 
  • First Come, First Served: Slots are filled and seen on a first-come basis each hour. If you do NOT have an appointment for that hour, you will be placed behind the appointments and you will experience a longer wait time. 
  • Spreads Out Visits: Our aim is to distribute sick walk-in visits throughout the day. Increased wait times arise when too many patients check in at once. 
  • No Show/Cancellation Fees: Please call and cancel if your child no longer needs to be seen. A NON-CANCELLATION/NO SHOW fee of $25 will apply to these visits. Ensure you cancel at least 2 hours before the visit to avoid the fee and open up slots for other children.

Important Reminders about Fast Lane:

  • Not “Appointments”: These are NOT appointments but timed WALK-IN slots. You will still have some wait time. 
  • Same Number of Visits: We will still see the same number of sick visits throughout the day; just sign up for a time slot. 
  • Wait Time: If a slot is full, please choose another to avoid increased wait time. If everyone sticks to the process, wait times will be reduced!

Additional Instructions

  • Scan QR Code: As with our current procedure, please scan the QR code when you enter the parking lot. 
  • Full Schedule or Additional Needs: If all slots are full, or for same day appointments or cancellations, call us. We are always happy to work your child in!

What if it is Not Working?

  • New Patients: If you are a new patient, please call our office to schedule your appointment. You must be registered in our system to schedule online. 
  • Correct Phone Number: Make sure your phone number in our system is correct to reserve a time slot. If not, contact our office to update your information. 
  • When The System is Down: Occasionally the online system experiences problems. If you are not a new patient and your phone number is correct in our system, please contact our office during office hours. We can schedule you at that time. We will also posts updates on social media when the system is down. 

Emergency Situations:

  • Immediate Notification: If your child is in distress, please inform us immediately! 


Read the instructions, and when ready to schedule, click the orange self-scheduling button at the top of the page.

  1. Click on the FastLane (Urgent Care) tab.
  • You will have the choice of 5 Fast Lane (Urgent Care) tabs.
  • All 5 Fast Lane tabs have the same time choices. They have times at the top of the hour and at 15 minutes after.

2. Fast Lane choices 1-5 are for the same doctor (meaning whichever MCP doctor is covering our walk-in sick clinic during that time period.

3. Time slots are at the top of the hour. EVEN IF YOU SIGN UP FOR A TIME 15 MINUTES AFTER THE TOP OF THE HOUR (e.g., 8:15, 9:15, 10:15), YOU SHOULD COME AT THE TOP OF THE HOUR (8, 9, 10)

  • Example: If Fast Lane 1 does not have your desired time slot, move to Fast Lane 2 to see if your desired time slot is open. If not, move to Fast Lane 3, and so on. Fast Lane 1-3 may be out of 8 AM and 8:15 reservations; however, Fast Lane 4 and 5 might have some left if 8 am is your desired time. If not, you willneed to choose another time. 

4. Find your desired time and follow the instructions.

  • Enter your information
  • A security code will be sent to you.
  • Make a note of your time.

5. You will be sent a confirmation text.
